GetPaidX Overview

The plain-English orientation for what the app is, how the main surfaces fit together, and where new users should start.

What GetPaidX is

GetPaidX is a public-facing creator marketplace built around professional profile workspaces, paid posts, referrals, and place-aware discovery.

For most people, the simplest mental model is this:

  • your profile is your public home,
  • your featured profile workspace is your persistent offer surface,
  • posts let you publish updates, events, replies, and paid offers,
  • places let you connect posts and live presence to a real venue,
  • workspaces and artifacts let buyers interact with what you are selling.

Who it is for

The app is designed for creators, consultants, publishers, co-sellers, and collaborators who want a public place to:

  • explain what they do,
  • publish offers,
  • get paid through Stripe,
  • share revenue with collaborators,
  • let buyers interact with a workspace or artifact instead of only reading static text.

How the main surfaces fit together

The public and signed-in surfaces each have a different job:

SurfaceWhat it is for
Home and Learn pagesProduct overview and first orientation
FeedDiscover posts, offers, and check-ins
ProfilePublic identity, featured workspace, and post history
Post pageFull offer details, replies, workspace, artifact, and purchase state
Place pageVenue-specific posts, people, and chat
SettingsAccount setup, monetization, referrals, API, and profile controls

Where to start

If you are new, the usual order is:

  1. sign in,
  2. complete your profile,
  3. create or activate your featured profile workspace,
  4. publish a post or offer,
  5. turn on pricing and payouts when you are ready to sell.

If you prefer a guided example instead of a reference manual, the walkthrough library remains available as a companion set of scenario pages.
